- 마카비 2서 12:38-45에 나타난 죽은 자들을 위한 속죄 제사 연구 -
이 논문은 부활 사상과 관련하여 죽은 이들을 위한 속죄제사를 드리는 것 에 대한 신학적인 해석을 다룬 연구이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 마카비 2서 12 장 38절부터 45절에 나오는 유다 마카비와 그의 군사들이 죽은 전사들을 위 해 속죄 제사를 드린 이야기를 중심으로 주석적 연구를 실시하였다. 유다와 그의 군사들은 전사자들의 몸에서 우상의 부적을 발견하였고, 그 결과 그들 의 죽은 원인이 율법을 어겼다는 것을 알게 되었다. 이 일로 유다와 살아남 은 군사들은 죽은 군사들의 죄에 대한 속죄의 제사를 야웨께 드리게 된다. 이 연구는 이러한 내용을 중심으로 마카비 시대의 율법준수와 부활에 대한 이해, 그리고 율법을 어기고 죽은 자들의 죄사함에 대한 문제를 다루었다. 먼저, 본문에 대한 역사적 배경과 주석적 연구를 통해서 마카비 시대 유대인 들의 율법 이해와 죽음 이후의 부활에 대한 문제들을 면밀하게 분석하였는 데, 이를 위해 이 연구의 목표는 1) 율법을 지키려는 삶(율법과 거룩), 2) 율 법을 지키려는 자를 도우시는 주님, 3) 율법을 지키려는 삶(공동체의 속죄기 도와 권고), 4) 율법과 부활의 관계에 대한 본문 중심의 주석적 연구를 실시 하였다. 이를 통해서 부활 사상과 관련한 죽은 자들을 위한 속죄 제사에 대 한 당시 유대공동체의 신학적 해석과 이후 가톨릭교회와 동방정교회 그리고 개신교의 신학적 해석의 다름을 확인할 수 있었다. 해석의 다름의 이유는 마 카비서를 ‘정경으로 인정하느냐?, 그렇지 않은가?’에 따라 달라진다는 것을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 성서비평에 대한 새로운 해석의 가능성을 제시하였 다는 연구결과를 얻었다.
A Study of the Sin Offering for the Dead in 2 Maccabees 12:38-45
The purpose of this article is to deal with the theological interpretation of the sin offered to those who died during the war in relation to the resurrection thought. For the purpose above, a commentary study was conducted focusing on the story of Judah Maccabeus and his soldiers, who conducted sin offerings for dead warriors as described in 2 Maccabees 12:38-45. Judah and his soldiers discovered idol talismans on the bodies of the dead, and as a result confirmed that the death of the warriors was due to their breaking the law of God. Because of this, Judah and the surviving soldiers offered a sin offering for atonement seeking forgiveness in regard to the dead soldiers to YHWH. Focusing on these contents, this study will deal with the issues of the law observance and resurrection in the Maccabeus era and the forgiveness of sins of those who have broken the law. This article will closely analyze such issues as the Jews’ understanding of the law and the resurrection after death in the Maccabeus era through the historical background and commentary study of the text. To this end, the goal of this study is to identify 1) the life to keep the law part 1 (the law and holiness), 2) the Lord willing to help those who want to keep the law, and 3) the life to keep the law part 2 (the community's atonement prayer and counsel) and to conduct 4) a text-centered commentary study of the relationship between the law and the resurrection. Through this, it was possible to confirm the difference in the theological interpretation in relation to the resurrection thought of the Jewish community, of the Catholic Church, of Eastern Orthodox Church, and of the Protestant circle, respectively. It was confirmed that the reason for the difference above is to accept Book of Maccabees as a canon or not, and the result of this study suggests that there is a possibility of a new interpretation of Bible criticism at the same time.
